Pictures in the United States on March 29, 2018.The film received mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised Spielberg's direction, the visual effects, brisk pacing, and the performances of both Sheridan and Rylance; however, there was some criticism for the lack of development among the film's supporting characters.
Why do I consider Ready Player One a classic?
Ready Player One includes all of my favorite and many other peoples favorite movie references such as the Iron Giant, The Shining, and Back to the Future. Because of this it makes the movie a great visualizer and entertaining seeing these movies crossover and become one. This movie includes a virtual story and a real world story which adds a complex feel to the genre. I would give this movie a 8/10 because this movie is based on a book and the movie did not follow the events at all from the book which makes it a little irritating but still this is one of Spielbergs greatest movies.
